Book Fair Gratitude
Dear Parents,
Congratulations!! Through your support and participation our Book Fair was an overwhelming success! As a result, 145 books were purchased for the teachers from their "Wish Lists." Through incentives and book profit we received $460 worth of books for the library and classrooms. Our cash profit was $1800. Also, due to your kindness in our All for Books Program, we raised $220 and were able to purchase 33 books for St. Peter Elementary School in San Francisco. In addition, Scholastic Books will donate $220 worth of books to their charities.
To those parents who sent money with their children so they could purchase books, to those parents who set up an eWallet account for their children, to those parents who came to our Book Fair (some daily) to help their children select books, and to those parents who so generously bought "Wish List" books for their children's classrooms and donated to the All For Books Program ---- WE SAY THANK YOU!
To the participants of the “Guess the Candy” contest and to the winners – Ruby Gorman, 2nd grade, Ashley Infante, 5th grade and Brooke Gorman, 6th grade ---WE SAY THANK YOU!
To Ms. Pini, for once again letting me hold the book fair in the school lobby – WE SAY THANK YOU!
To Brenda Barkley, for helping me move furniture and set up the book fair – WE SAY THANK YOU!
Finally, to those parents, Krista Amendola, Ashley Brittain, Cara Fitzgerald, Leigh Hornik, Judy Kummer, Lindsay McNulty, Caroline Pedersen, Sarah Poulios, Jennifer Rosko, Jenny Sennott, Katie Townsend and Monica Wilkins, who volunteered their time to help make this such a successful book fair ---- WE SAY THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Sincerely,
Sue Della Cella
