Google Meet Meeting Security
Because Google Meet has updated, there are new settings that you will need to check when starting your meetings.
After you have started the meeting, click on HOST CONTROLS (looks like a blue shield) and uncheck QUICK ACCESS. This will give your meeting more security because you will need to admit each person who joins your meeting. It will also not allow students to add others to the meeting.
