We are working HARD!
Progress reports came home last week, and we are well on our way to becoming the smartest little Brickies around. We are working so hard in class each and every day. We hope you took time to look over their progress reports and went over it with your child. Be proud of these goals being met and take some time each night to help them work on the ones they need a little extra help with. Below is what we are working on heading towards knowing by the end of Quarter 1. These report cards will come home on October 28th.

We still have a couple more classes going to the orchard next week! Miss Buckley, Mrs. Grulke, and Miss Deter's classes will be going October 3rd.
This field trip is a rain or shine event... So PLEASE make sure your child is dressed for the weather! Please make sure they also have their backpack (preferably empty) on the day of their trip as they will be bringing home a bag of apples as well as a pumpkin. If you did not sign up to have a lunch provided for them from the school cafe, make sure they have a cold lunch packed in a disposable bag so it can all just be pitched out when they finish eating. They are going to have so much fun!!!
It’s that time of year where the weather is changing. Remember those bags of emergency clothes in your child’s backpack? Please swap out the summer clothes for fall clothing. Please also make sure your child’s emergency bag has socks and underwear in it. If your child doesn’t have a bag in their backpack- please make them one!!! One outfit, one pair of socks, and one pair of underwear. This is for any emergency your child may encounter here at school, not just bathroom accidents. You never know when they may slip in mud or chocolate milk will attack at lunch!!
