The Lancer Link
Franklin Elementary School - August 2021
Welcome Back
A Note From Our Principal
As we close out the first week of the new school year, I would like to acknowledge our teachers and staff for doing an outstanding job of preparing for the start of the school year. They have worked hard to prepare a safe and welcoming environment for all students.
Next, I would like to commend the students for doing a great job of following safety procedures and coming to school ready to learn. Let's keep up the great work! During the first few days, we spent a great deal of time getting settled into our routines and taking benchmark tests. Next week, we will dive into more content.
Lastly, I would like to thank the parents/guardians for supporting their child(ren) and the school staff. We ask for your continued patience, and we thank you for your willingness to follow the procedures and expectations listed in our District’s Return to School Plan. As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns. Let’s make it a great year!
Sincerely,
Rebecca West
Principal
