Welcome, Page Panthers!
WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!

Welcome, Page Panthers!
Meet Principal Carter!
Dear Page Students, Parents, and Guardians,
It's that time of summer⦠to start thinking about the start of a new school year, connecting with friends, greeting new classmates, and digging back into learning and growing our brains. I look forward to getting to know all of you throughout the school year! Last year I served as the interim principal at Thurston Elementary. Before that, I was Dean of Students at Mt. Vernon Elementary and a special education teacher. This will be my 16th year in the Springfield School District. I grew up in this area and attended Guy Lee, Hamlin, and Springfield High. I am excited to be your new principal and to join the Page Family! I have an open-door policy and genuinely want to partner with you to support your student(s). I can't wait to meet you at our Meet the Teacher Night on 8/31/23! Go Panthers!
Warmly,
Mrs. Carter

Kindergarten Information

A staggered start means that half the class will attend kindergarten the first day of school and the other half the second day of school. No kindergarten students will attend school on Friday. All students will be back with the entire class Monday, September 11th. The staggered start helps greatly with the transition to school for our new kindergarteners.

- Friday, September 8th- No kinder students will attend school, class lists posted in front of school at 4:00.
* Kindergarten students that do not ride the bus, must be met by an adult at the kindergarten sign at the end of the day for a teacher to parent βhand off.β
Campus Supervision
Supervision for students starts at 8am when doors open for breakfast. All students dropped off will be asked to wait in the cafeteria even if they are not eating breakfast. If a parent stays with a student outside and waits for doors to open, they may wait in front of the school. There is no supervision prior to 8:00. Please do not drop your student(s) off prior to 8:00.
Classroom doors will open at 8:25. All students are welcome to go to class. Students will be dismissed from breakfast if they are finished. Due to district protocols, we can not allow parents to walk students into the school building to class. This safety measure is in place to ensure a safe environment for all of our students. The only adults allowed in the school building are checked in as volunteers at the front office. Thank you for understanding.
