SY24 Family Issue #24
Happy Presidents' Day LMDES Families!
Originally established to honor George Washington's birthday on February 22, Presidents' Day has evolved to also celebrate the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln and other U.S. presidents. Presidents' Day is viewed as a time to reflect on the achievements and legacies of past presidents and to celebrate the office of the presidency itself.
Check out the photo of Ms. Dines' pre-k students who made George Washington masks after reading about US Presidents.
All the best,
Mrs. Lindsay G. Brenfleck, Principal
Mr. Joseph D. Farrell, Assistant Principal
