1: Students in Mrs. Wiltse’s 4th grade classroom at West are building their vocabulary by using dictionaries and thesauruses with partners.
2: ZCMS Students of the Month were joined by their families for a light breakfast and awards ceremony. Congratulations to all first-quarter award recipients!
3: ZCMS students and staff celebrated Dia de los Muertos, a Mexican holiday that honors friends and family members who have died.
4: The Zion Fire Department visited East Elementary Wednesday morning. Students learned about fire safety and prevention.

6: Students at East and Beulah Park Elementary enjoyed a visit from Ned and Brian from The NED Show. The students heard stories of aliens, adventure, and growth throughout the relatable and funny presentation. The event taught elementary students to Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best.
U.S. Department of Education officials will be hosting a live webinar for parents and families to celebrate National Parent Involvement Day — 11/16 at 6:00 p.m. CST! This high energy event will focus on the U.S. Department of Education's commitment to supporting parents and the success of their children and will feature Secretary Cardona and other senior Department officials in conversation with Grace Bastidas of Parents Magazine.
