Did you know?
Families of Students of Color Support Group
The mission of Families of Students of Color is to support and advocate for students of color and their families in WDMCS. We believe that connecting with each other is a form of self-care for ourselves and our families.
Support: We provide support for parents/guardians so that we can nurture our children to be strong, resilient, and proud of their identities.
Education: We are a resource for educating our community in areas of race, ethnicity, and racism in our pursuit of equity, inclusion, and diversity.
Advocacy: We advocate for our children and all students of color in the district, specifically by working with building equity leads and equity teams.
We welcome any families in the district that would like to share their experiences or address any issues they are having. The varied locations are for anyone to attend, not just families/students at those schools.

Chromebooks:
All students should bring their charged Chromebooks with them to school each day, and it is also recommended that they pack their Chromebook charger. Our building does have loaner Chromebooks for the rare occasions when a temporary device is needed. If a replacement charger is needed students can pick up a new one from the library; a $22 fee will be assessed for a replacement charger. Thank you for your help in making sure your student is ready to learn each day!
