Thank you so much to all of our wonderful Jaguar parents and guardians that came out last week for Parent-Teacher Conferences! We had a wonderful turnout, and we are so grateful. It takes teamwork between the teacher, parents & guardians, administration, and all of our support personnel to ensure each student's success. Showing up for conferences and taking an interest in your child's education is a hugely important step on the journey to that success. I applaud your efforts and cannot wait to see it continue!

We are about to kickoff the busiest quarter of the school year with a jam-packed fall season. Be sure that your kiddo comes to school every day so they don't miss out on all of the learning and all of the fun! One of the best ways to learn is by experiencing things, and we have all kinds of experiences planned for the month of October!

Student attendance is one of the largest factors in student academic success. Students that come to school every day do better in school Here at Johnson Pre-K we recognize classes daily who have perfect attendance. Mrs. Huggins personally comes to the class to celebrate perfect attendance days, and those classes are also recognized at our weekly Rise-N-Shine program on Friday mornings. Classes track those Perfect Attendance Days, and they receive a prize for every 10 perfect attendance days achieved. Additionally, names of students with good attendance are put into a drawing every quarter to receive a fancy new scooter! Unless you child is truly sick (fever, vomiting, or diarrhea) please send them to school every day! How is your child's class doing? See below...

this log and returning it to their teacher after Fall Break.

All students will have their pictures taken on October 20th. Order forms will go home on October 17th, and you will also have an option of ordering pictures online. Please send your child in their UNIFORM for fall pictures. We will do pictures again in the spring where students will be able to dress out of uniform. We also have PE and recess that day. Please be sure to send your kiddos in their tennis shoes for safety!! We appreciate your consideration. Thank you!

As part of OKC Public Schools, we follow the elementary uniform policy. Students will need to wear uniforms daily.

• White, Red, Grey, & Navy Collared Shirts/Tops
• School Shirts
• Navy Blue, Khaki, & Black Pants/Bottoms

Closed-toe shoes - we have recess daily (weather permitting) and PE several times per week. Please help us keep everyone safe.

All bottoms must be at least fingertip length. Please have students wear shorts under dresses and rompers.
