Our Learning Community...
Thursday night's Spring Showcase of Learning was an incredible success! Seeing so many examples of student work displayed across classrooms was a wonderful way to reflect on all that has been achieved this school year. We loved watching families participate in IMPACT rotations and walk around the Art Gallery in the library. It is always so special to see the pride our scholars have while sharing their accomplishments with their families. We hope all who attended had an amazing time!
Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year has started! If your child is currently enrolled you are all set. If you have a child that will be starting Kindergarten (and was not in our UTK) you can start the enrollment process now! Completing the new student enrollment process avoids the busy rush in August before school starts and helps us better plan our staff and classroom configurations.
If you meet new families that move into the neighborhood over the summer, let them know they can start the enrollment process online and our office will reach out to them when we reopen in August. More information and links can be found below.
Online LCFF Forms Available Now
Each year the district is responsible for collecting information from our students’ families to support the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) process. Thank you to those families that have already completed the LCFF form!
If you have not yet completed the LCFF form you can complete it with our online system accessed through the Parent Portal in PowerSchool or return the paper copy that has been sent home with your child.
Please complete the form as soon as possible. If you do not have a Parent Portal account, please contact our front office to set one up. By completing the survey, you will not only be supporting the district’s efforts, but increasing the chances of our school receiving more of this valuable funding.

Jones Elementary PTA
Our Parent Teacher Association works with Jones Elementary to provide programs and support to benefit the students, their families, teachers, school administration and the community. Run entirely by volunteers, the PTA raises money to support enrichment programs, program instructors, educational assemblies and field trips, family events, and special classroom supplies.
As always, we need your membership, support and ability to volunteer. You can become a member using Totem, a respected membership management service. Please contact us with other thoughts on how we are doing, and your ideas on how you can become involved. We look forward to hearing from you.
