Another Week Bites the Dust!
Another week down, and I'm more impressed than ever. As a district, our teachers are constantly doing wonderful things. The lessons and activities I see in the classrooms show me that each of you is a fantastic teacher and truly enjoys your work daily. I hope you take a moment to get out and about on your plan and see your colleagues' work. We can learn a lot from each other and should work to collaborate and support each other as much and often as possible.
This week was full of activities and trips that I believe benefited our students:
Fourth grade went on an adventure back to the olden days. It looked like they had a blast and learned much about our past.
The third grade took some time to learn about Missouri's past and interacted with some genuine animal pelts.
Our high schoolers learned about the scientific method through experimentation.
Yearbook went on a trip that resulted in the cover of the yearbook being completed and learned about some changes and improvements they wished to see.
I know there were more activities, but I wanted to highlight a few for everyone. If you haven't taken a look on Facebook, I encourage you to check the pictures from those activities. Please let me know if you are doing something fun or exciting in your class!
To end, I want to thank each of you from the bottom of my heart for the effort you put in every day. I see teachers, coaches, administrative assistants, and custodians put in countless hours to improve our school. This dedication is what makes our school so great.

Lastly, I want to think her for her years of service to the district. She has been a rock on the high school end for years, and I look forward to working with her for years to come.

Quote of the Week
Charles Kuralt
It should be our goal to help each student find their full potential and their version of success. Build healthy relationships with your students. Learn about their hope and dreams and find ways to help them achieve those dreams.
