Saturday, March 4th- Native Plant Butterfly Garden Project
Hello Everyone,
The big day is finally here!! We will be planting the Native Plant Butterfly Garden at the Melbourne Beach Library on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 8:30am. We will need plenty of volunteers so bring your shovels, rakes, gloves, sunscreen and drinking water. This will also be a great way to earn volunteer hours if needed. We will be meeting at the east portion of the library’s parking lot.
In preparation to the main planting, we will be having a “Prep Day” on Tuesday, February 28, at 9-11am. This will involve pulling weeds and rock removal. This will be labor intensive but the more we get done before the planting, the better it will be for the garden. Again, bring your garden tools.
Hope to see you there!
If you have any questions, please contact me.
