P.A.W.S. Character Trait for November
Gratitude/Thankful (November): To be aware and appreciative of a benefit.
This quarter we will continue to focus on meeting expectations for line behavior. We look for 4 S lines which are silent, straight, still, and smiling!
Professor P.A.W.S. has been a great influence and reminder to follow our P.A.W.S. expectations throughout the building!

All for Books
All for Books is a donation program to buy books for Desert Cove students and teachers.
All for Books makes an impact in three ways:
1. 100% of all donations are used to buy books for Desert Cove teachers and students and library.
2. Purchases made with All for Books donations count to our total sales. This means we get an additional 50% of the donation amount in Scholastic Dollars credit. (Credit is used to buy more books for DCES.)
3. Scholastic matches Desert Cove donations by donating to literacy nonprofits such as the Kids in Need Foundation.
To accept online donations for All for Books we have created a donation e-wallet account. We do not want anyone confusing this with a personal e-wallet! (E-wallets can be created for individuals to make purchases. The All for Books e-wallet is only for donations!)
