Introducing Mrs. Alivia Stamp, SVHS Principal! Mrs. Stamp is not a stranger to Sandy Valley - she spent last year at SV getting to know the staff and students by subbing as an administrator, coaching JV girls’ basketball, and working with students in multiple capacities. Previously, Mrs. Stamp was an administrator in the Canton City School District. She is already an excellent addition to our high school administrative staff!

Mrs. Stamp extends a heartfelt "thank you" to the Cardinal families for their support during this transition. "If you see me at events, please introduce yourself," said Mrs. Stamp, "Also, please reach out to me with any questions or concerns." International speaker and author, Joe Beckman, is coming to speak at an AWESOME community event on September 28th at 7 p.m.

Sandy Valley Local School District and Tuscarawas Valley Local School District partnered to sponsor Joe Beckman, who combines humor, heart, and soul, and will share five specific phrases he believes all kids (and adults) need to hear! Free desserts will follow the event! Bring everyone to hear his incredible message! He will be speaking at Tuscarawas Valley's Middle School September 28th at 7 p.m. Join us on September 28th to see Joe Beckman!

Carroll County Farm Bureau and Sandy Valley's FFA would like to invite you to the second “Tailgate to Touchdowns” event at Sandy Valley High School football field on Friday, September 22nd, prior to the football game. The event is from 5-7pm.

A meal will be provided, fun games will be available, and everyone is welcome! The $5 donation for the meal will be used towards the Carroll County Farm Bureau Scholarship Fund as well as supporting more local programming to help educate the public about agriculture.

The Cardinals host Indian Valley that evening and it is Military Appreciation Night! Go Cards!

We apologize for the inconvenience, but there are a few new forms on Final Forms that need to be electronically signed. One of the new forms is an option for medical care - at SCHOOL! Sandy Valley has partnered with AultmanNow to provide medical care to students through a telehealth program. Students who are sick can now see a doctor or nurse practitioner while at school in the clinic. This is one of the two new forms on Final Forms! Thank you, in advance, for filling out the Final Forms!

The SV Counseling team has some GREAT events for families and students coming up!

The College and Career Fair is on October 18th. Students can come during their lunches and meet with different universities, military, and career opportunities!

The CCP Information Night is on Wednesday, November 15th, at 6 p.m. This is for families to learn more about college credit plus options - taking college credit classes here at SV and more!

The Financial Aid/FAFSA Night for SV seniors and their families is Wednesday, November 29th, at 6 p.m. in the SV Media Center. A representative from Kent Tuscarawas will be presenting about the changes to FAFSA and discuss other financial aid information.

🎓Jostens is coming to Sandy Valley on Thursday, September 21st, at 7:30 a.m. They will talk about cap & gown ordering and other items for graduation. 🎓

📆 Mark your calendars; Sandy Valley's Commencement will be on May 19th, at 2 p.m. at the stadium (weather permitting). Graduation rehearsal is Friday, May 17th, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Important State Testing dates for the 2023-2024 school year!

Attention Cardinal families, Ohio State Testing for ALL students in grades 3 through 10 is from April 10-26, 2024. Please mark your calendars for these dates! Attendance during the state tests is critical to your child's academic success.

Sandy Valley's spring break is prior to testing and is from Monday, March 25th-April 1st. School resumes April 2nd. There is no school on Monday, April 8th.
