Attention LCMS parents! We are starting a Parent Group to explore CVUSD's latest Wellness Kit.

If you are interested in learning about SEL resources and tools that can be applied at home, contact School Site Council member (and mom of 8th grader) Sonja Montiel at sonja@thedheffect.com.

The Thousand Oaks Teen Center is hosting two trips to Mt. High Ski Resort on non-CVUSD school days.

All CVUSD students ages 12-17 are welcome. Trips are from 6:00am - 7:30pm on Monday January 23rd and/or Friday February 17th. Cost is $150 per person and includes transportation, lift ticket, and supervision. Permission slip/proof of family medical insurance REQUIRED to attend. Click on flyer for more info. We will start using our new Front Office entrance doorbell on Tuesday, January 17th.

As a continued effort to provide the best resources for the safety and well-being of our students, families and staff, Los Cerritos Middle School, along with other CVUSD schools, has installed a visitor notification system. Our doors will remain locked during business hours (8:30am-4:00pm) and visitors will need to press a button on the front door of the main office to be let in.

Students will be required to enter through the gym gate or the tennis courts gate unless they have business in the office or are arriving late for class.

***HELPFUL TIP***

To expedite the claim process and to return the device more quickly to the student, you can have your student bring their device into front office to let our school computer tech enter the claim for them.

Please select the Council(s)/Committee(s) that you would like to receive information and updates on, approximately monthly. If you have students at multiple school sites, please submit the form for each school. Additionally, if you opted-in last year, please plan to do so annually. Importantly, should you choose to opt-in to receiving these updates, the parent/guardian representative for the Advisory Council(s)/Committees(s) and/or the administration will not share your email address with others. You also have the ability to opt-out at any time in the event you no longer wish to receive the Advisory Council/Committee information.
