MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL LAMBERT
Dear Parents,
Report Cards will be available for parents via your Power School portal on Friday, Nov. 20th. At the Principal's Coffee we will discuss the report card format and answer any questions you have about distance learning in relation to the grades. We will also review the steps for parents to see in Google Classroom and SeeSaw how their child is doing each week. Please join me at 3:15 p.m. via Zoom on Mon. Nov. 30th. The link will be in your email.
Have you joined the Castro Parents WhatsApp group? A parent rep will be at the Principal's coffee to help you join if you are interested. This is an important parent message group that also has information about school happenings and information and is a place where parents can ask questions about community or school resources.
Please remember to join the PTA! Here is a link to become a member. Let's not let COVID get in the way of having a strong Castro PTA.
Please be sure to let us know if there is any way we can help your family and of course if you have any questions or concerns about your child's education.
Warm Regards,
Theresa Lambert

Socio-emotional Tool of the Week - The Breathing Tool
When we breathe purposefully with the Breathing Tool, it calms and slows us down and brings our attention inward. We become more selfaware and self-reflective about our bodies, minds, emotions, and impulses. Because of that, we are more likely to have the insight and time to react more appropriately in stressful situations-in our own best interests and in the best interests of others.
