A Message from Ms. Piezas
Hello Everyone,
As we return from our three day weekend. I want to share a quote and what it means to m y life and work. "Everyone can be great, because everyone can serve.,"-Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
What does it mean to serve our students?
It means coming in every day and doing my best to educate our students so that they have more opportunities. It means being an example and showing students how to make the world a better place for everyone. It means supporting students and famlies so that our students are ready and able to learn. It means making sure our students see themselves in our lessons, our books, our hallways, and our classrooms. It means instilling a need to help make the world better than they find it.
There are ways that you can serve our students as well. It begins at home by supporting your child and thier edcation you are serving them. Volunteers can serve by working in availble classrooms and on school projects. PTA is a wonderful way to get involved and serve our students.
Wishing you love and joy,
M. Piezas

We need more PTA members! We've all enjoyed the events this year. In order for these events to keep happening we need new and more PTA members. Worried about your language skills? Not a problem, we will work that out. Our students tend to play together during the meetings, so feel free to bring them along. You can email corvalliselementarypta@gmail.com for more information.
Absences and Tardies
Students entering the building from 8:35-8:45 will be greeted by our staff and given a tardy slip to take to class. After 8:45 students will report to the office to obtain a tardy slip.
If your child will not attend school on a particular day you may email cor.att@slzusd.org or call 510-317-4999. Please leave a voice mail. Our office checks it several times a day.
