What:
TMS is implementing the Watch D.O.G.S. program on campus. D.O.G.S. stands for “Dads of Great
Students”, and is a national program focused on bringing positive male family members on to middle school and elementary school campuses to further encourage a healthy, respectful, and engaging environment for students.
Where:
Becoming a Dad of Great Students is an opportunity for dads to volunteer and get involved at TMS
during the school day. The specifics of our Watch D.O.G.S. launch party is TBD, and will be the first
chance for people with an interest in this opportunity to meet other dads, eat some pizza, learn about the specifics of the program, and sign up for a day that works for you.
Becoming a Dad of Great Students will afford us the opportunity to be an on campus positive male role model demonstrating the importance of education through our presence alone. We are also an extra set of eyes and ears at the school to enhance security and reduce bullying. This is an opportunity for every day ”dads” of our community to build strong relationships with school teachers and administrators while guiding our young children in a positive and impactful way.
