Welcome Back MSHS!

We had an incredible first week at Manitou Springs High School! Our staff returned for four days of preparing their classrooms, purposeful trainings, and staff collaboration opportunities. Additionally, our Student Council and Freshmen Advisors worked together to host our incoming ninth grade class for their Freshmen Orientation! Thank you to all of our folks who made that day possible, and in particular our Student Council Advisors: Liz Tindall and Ingrid Perez. Today was our first day of school and brought the hype! It was so fun seeing new and old faces, supporting students in finding their new classrooms and teachers, and seeing students and staff building community. We're looking forward to our first full week with students next week! Go Mustangs!

Our freshmen class had an opportunity to come in on Thursday to get familiar with the high school, meet their advisory teachers, connect with classmates, and hike Red Mountain. This was a memorable way for the freshmen to start their high school career.

Senior Sunrise is a Manitou Springs High School tradition. Some students got an early start to the school year!
