Parents we are seeing a rising trend in the number of absences and tardies. Please make every effort to get your child to school each day on time. We are meeting with students individually and outlining their attendance recovery plans. Please support our efforts to protect instructional time.
Parents as a reminder End of Course Tests will be coming up very soon for our high school students. Many students will be mid-month testing the first week of November, and the main administration for first semester is in the first week of December. Please encourage your students to work hard on EOC preparation over the next few weeks! Additionally being at school on time daily is very important.
I would like to commend the students for their behavior during our off campus PBIS Kickoff!!! Parents be proud they represented themselves and you well. (see pictures below)
Parents please see flyers below for upcoming Family Engagement Activities. Junior/Senior Transcript Audit Nov. 9th. Our Family Thanksgiving Lunch in conjunction with our Annual Fall Into Success Program is Nov. 16th. Also attached below is an updated copy of our Parent Compact and Parent Engagement Plan.
Parents please remind your son/daughter about our dress code: hoods, tights (as stand alone pants) and slides are NOT permitted.
Parents please pay close attention to the guidance for students under the age of 16 attending sporting events. Flyer posted below.
Our Evening School Program (ESP) is up and running. ESP is great for remediation, enrichment, and attendance recovery. Evening School hours are Monday and Friday Asynchronous (virtual) and Tuesday-Thursday in person from 2:30-6:00. Our attendance recovery plans have been implemented and students are being required to attend our ESP in person session to make up days missed.
