Talent Show
KES Talent Showcase
Do you have a special talent? We want to see it! KES will host a Talent Showcase on Friday, April 19th during school hours.
There will be two parts to the Talent Showcase:
Display portion which consist of students displaying their talents on a table.
On-stage performance portion which consists of a live performance by the student (can be individual or group)-Performance limited to 90 seconds.
Performance Preview Week March 18-22nd
All students who return this interest form for an on-stage performance will be asked to perform for the showcase committee. This is not a try-out, all students interested will be in the show. This is to get a better idea of what kinds of acts will be in the show and how to organize them.
Dress Rehearsal- Tuesday, April 9th 3:50-5:00pm
This is mandatory for all on-stage performers.
The following guidelines will be enforced to ensure a fun and successful event for everyone. If they are not adhered to, students will not be allowed to perform.
Rehearsal: Interest form must be turned in on time and participants must take part in performance preview and dress rehearsal.
Dress code: No strapless shirts or dresses, no midriffs.
Music: No lyrics that are rude, suggestive, include swearing or disrespect to others.
Leap into Learning Night
KES Learning Night will take place on Thursday, February 29th from 6:00 - 7:30. The theme this year is Leap into Learning! The event will be similar to last year with students visiting their classrooms to showcase their work. Families will have the chance to participate in a scavenger hunt, win prizes, and enjoy a snack from the PTO. Please watch for an RSVP to come home soon.

Food Drive
First Annual 5th Grade Food Drive
Every year, our 5th graders celebrate their 1,000th Day of School! To celebrate, our 5th grade students have a goal to collect 1,000 items for our local Kewaskum Community Pantry. All KES students (grades K3-5th) are invited to help us reach our goal! We will collect items from Monday, January 29 through Friday, February 9, 2024.
Current needs:
Non Perishable Food Items : Boxed instant potatoes, idahoan bag instant potatoes, instant rice, mac’n’cheese, pasta-roni, Hamburger Helper, Knorr rice sides, Knorr pasta sides, pasta sauce for spaghetti, Jiffy boxed pizza crust, pizza sauce, canned tuna, applesauce
Hygiene Items : Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, bar soap, kleenex
Previous Information
- Clothing Expectations: We have updated our winter clothing expectations here. If your family needs assistance please call the office and ask for Mrs. Mundigler.
- Recognize a Teacher: Kewaskum Elementary School is blessed with fantastic staff that focus on teaching the whole child. Their commitment to the students of KES is commendable. Please consider recognizing a staff member at KES through this Google form. These small notes have such a BIG impact!
- Playground-Just a reminder that there is no supervision on the playground before school. This time is reserved for Boys and Girls Club and one other Daycare. All students should refrain from being on the playground in the morning and after school.
- Student absence: If your child is absent from school please let the secretary and classroom teacher know. Otherwise, let the office know and the office will inform the classroom teacher.
- Yearbooks: Yearbooks can be purchased online until February 9th using this link.
