Eagle Camp June 21 - June 29
As part of our commitment to their academic and personal development, our incoming 9th grade students are participating in our Eagle Camp, a special program designed to prepare students for the TSI (Texas Success Initiative) reading and writing exams, while also exposing them to team building activities through out ADVO program- and community partners such as Grow + On and Bridge Year - a career exploration / career test drive.
Eagle Camp will serve as an intensive and engaging program to equip our students with the necessary skills and knowledge for success in high school and beyond. Here are some key details about the camp:
TSI Reading and Writing Preparation: By familiarizing them with the TSI exam format, question types, and strategies, we aim to boost their confidence and ensure they are well-prepared.
Team Building Activities: We strongly believe in the power of collaboration and teamwork. During Eagle Camp, students will participate in various team building exercises and challenges that promote effective communication, problem-solving, and cooperation. These activities will help foster a positive and supportive environment among our incoming 9th-grade students.
Career Exploration with Bridge Year: As part of the camp, students will have the opportunity to engage in Bridge Year, a program that provides a "career test drive." Through interactive workshops and hands-on activities, students will explore different career paths and gain insights into the world of work. This exposure will help them make more informed decisions about their future educational and career goals.
We are confident that Eagle Camp will have a lasting impact on our students' academic performance, social skills, and career aspirations.
