2022 Accountability Framework
2022 Federal School Improvement Overview and Q&A
CCMR Tracker
The first release contains 2020–21 PEIMS, TSIA results, and OnRamps course completion data. The SAT, ACT, AP, IB, and level I and level II certificates data provided are through the 2019–20 school year. The second Tracker release in June will contain updated data for these indicators through the end of the 2020–21 school year.
Corrections cannot be submitted to TEA; this report is for informational purposes only. If districts find errors, they are encouraged to work with testing vendors to make corrections prior to the student’s graduation. TSDS PEIMS data are final and cannot be corrected.
To read the full letter and see the information included, see the pdf below.
Accelerated Testers Student Listing
This final student listing reflects which subject area the student is considered accelerated and if the student has a corresponding SAT or ACT on record. Results as of May 2021 (2020–21, 2019–20, and 2018–19 school years) are included. The 2022 accountability calculations will include results through May 2022, and the August 2022 STAAR student listings released in TEAL Accountability will include these additional results.
The students included on the final listing will be evaluated as accelerated testers for 2022 accountability reports. For additional information on how these students will be included in accountability, please click here.
AEA Registration
2022 alternative education accountability (AEA) registration is now open in TEAL Accountability and will close April 8, 2022. Please note that the AEA registration criteria changed this year to align with statutory updates.
In order for a campus to be identified for AEA in 2022, it must
- meet either the current-year or prior-year TSDS PEIMS 75 percent at-risk criterion;
- have at least 90 percent of students enrolled in grades 6–12, as verified through 2021–22 PEIMS fall enrollment data
- be identified as offering alternative instruction in AskTED; and
- provide education services targeted to dropout prevention and recovery of students with enrollment consisting of at least 60 percent of the students 16 years of age or older as of September 1, 2021 (New this year under Senate Bill 879).
Alternative campuses that meet all AEA criteria with the exception of the 60 percent at 16 age criterion must submit a DRS application during the AEA registration window in order to be identified.
House Bill 3 2020-2021 SAT/ACT and IBC Reimbursement Report
The College Preparation Assessment Reimbursement provides funding to districts for the cost of the administration of college preparation assessments once per student either in the spring of their junior year or in their senior year, beginning in the 2019‐2020 school year. TEA provides each district estimated funding annually for assessment reimbursement. TEA will settle up with districts in the spring of the following fiscal year once all student assessment data is processed.
A second report also details reimbursement funding provided for Industry Based Certifications.
A-F Estimator is Back!
The A–F Estimator is now available on the right side of the Performance Reporting webpage under Related Content. This tool provides a way to calculate and estimate the performance of a district or campus in each domain and overall. The tool currently prepopulates domain and component values with 2019 results. You can enter new component values to estimate the corresponding domain and overall results. The accuracy and validity of the estimation is based solely on the data input by the user.
Please note, as prescribed by Senate Bill 1365, D/F ratings will be replaced with a Not Rated label for 2022 accountability ratings.
