Principal's Message
This year it is my pleasure to lead Mesquite High School as it's Principal. I am currently entering my 33rd year in education which began teaching science in 1990 at Agua Fria HS and then Mesa HS in 1998. I moved into administration at Mesa High as an Assistant Principal in 2006. In 2010 I served as the Principal of Williams Field HS and in 2013 left to become the Principal of Westwood HS in Mesa where I retired from administration in 2018. After retiring I worked as an Academic Mentor in the ASU Athletic Department, spent the inaugural year of Eastmark HS as a Biology teacher and department chair, and most recently served as an Instructional Coach at Mesquite HS. Through much of my career I have also coached basketball as the head boys coach at Agua Fria, Mesa High, Eastmark, and currently Mesquite HS. I am looking forward to supporting your students as we move the the 23-24 school year!
Shawn Lynch
