A Message from our Crocker Parent Group President:
Hello Crocker Parents,
Last year, we canceled two signature events- the 6th Grade New Parent Reception and the 6th Grade Cotillion. I am happy to report that both events have happened in 7th grade! A huge thank you to Parent Reception Chairs Cinthia Simon, Kim Wickham, Roberta Jurash, Karen Folgner, and Connie Tsao and their terrific committee. The long-awaited celebration was festive and enjoyed by all at the gorgeous Wickham home.
Secondly, thank you to Deb Crisp, Elizabeth Gomez, and Vanessa Shew for not giving up on Cotillion! One hundred 7th graders participated in this right-of-passage on the Crocker blacktop, so thank you to our volunteers for their can-do attitude and energy.
Our Networking Meeting Representatives are working with grade level Networking Chairs to plan more ways for parents to gather at each grade level, so please be on the lookout for these events and join in!
On a final note, have you seen the lost and found at Crocker lately? I think students have forgotten they are actually back at school and not at home all day! Please have your child grab their hoodie or water bottle before these valuable items are donated.
I have enjoyed meeting and talking to many of you at the recent CPG events and look forward to connecting more soon.
Warmly,
Jen Salma
Crocker Parent Group President
Crocker School Site Council
The School Site Council, SSC, is comprised of parents, students, and educators. Annually the team works to develop, revise and approve the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
Parents serve a term of two years on the SSC. Crocker has two open seats on SSC. Per the SSC Bylaws, we advertise the openings as they occur annually. All interested candidates are asked to complete a short form of interest. If you are interested in serving on SSC, please review additional information in the linked form.
Dues are DUE!
Dues are Due! Pay here: http://crocker.corecommerce.com/
In addition to paying for the school directory and yearbook, parent dues help fund grade level social events, teacher appreciation efforts and more! CPG committee members are already busy in the works planning for a great school year. Thanks to those families who have already paid their dues for the 2021-2022 year.
If you still need to pay, the deadline is TOMORROW, October 15th. Please use our commerce site below (same as link above): http://crocker.corecommerce.com/
