Hey Walden Families! Our amazing Walden teachers and staff have decorated pumpkins again this year! These pumpkins will be on display next week during lunch on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Please send your children with coins so they can vote for their favorite pumpkin! All money collected will be donated to The Highland Park Community Foundation Foundation. The July 4th recovery fund was created to address the continuing needs of victims for mental health and other services resulting from the shooting.
Walden is collecting items for the Deerfield Food Pantry. Collection will be 10/31 thru 11/4. Please drop items to the Walden lobby. We are collecting the following items for each grade
Kindergarten- toilet paper 1st Grade-dish soap 2nd Grade- bath soap 3rd Grade-Cans of soup 4th Grade-any type of pasta 5th Grade- canned vegetables

This week the PTO celebrated Mrs. Cleveland's baby girl on the way. She was gifted books, a swaddle, toy and a cookie. Congrats Mrs. Cleveland!
We also celebrated principal appreciation week. Mrs. Strenger and Mrs. Berwick were gifted some candy and a personalized jewelry tray. Thank you for all you do!
