Principal's Message
It was so wonderful to see so many of you last night. I want to thank our teachers for creating engaging and informative presentations and to our custodial team for ensuring that classrooms were cleaned and ready for the event.
Today, as I was visiting classrooms, I had the chance to observe teachers conferring with small groups of students to focus on targeted strategies. Another class was working to solve equations in various ways- There is more than one way to get to the right answer! Students were stretching their understanding of number sense. I wrapped up my class visits with a game of Kahoot!- reviewing chrome book expectations, with Mrs. Hesse and Ms. Lauren in the library.
Starting the Day off RIGHT
A *SAFE* drop off is the best start to the day! Everyone's cooperation is necessary to ensure we don't have a traffic or pedestrian accident. Share the reminders below with anyone who visits our parking lot with your children!
- Pedestrians use the crosswalk & observe the directions of staff on duty.
- In the drop-off lane, drivers pull forward as far as possible and REMAIN IN YOUR CAR. Students should unload when their car is against the yellow curb.
- If you would like to support your child when exiting the car, please park in a visitors parking space to do so. The drop off lane is NOT the lane to stop and exit your car.
- Please refrain from using your phone to take photos, video. If you wish to get a great picture, please park in a designated space and walk your child to campus.
Just a reminder that Friday is a shortened day schedule for all students.
Shortened Day Schedule
ALL TK/K- 8:10-11:30
1st-5th- 8:10-12:25
Thank you for helping keep school drop off safe for everyone.
