High School Registration Update Coming Soon: Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year!

To Families of 8th Grade Students Who Will Attend EVHS:

Welcome to Eastview High School! We are excited to meet you and work with you to begin the transition from middle school to Eastview High School. As we embark on this important journey together, we want to ensure a smooth and informative experience for both students and families.


High school is an exciting time filled with new opportunities for growth, exploration, and academic achievement. To help your student make the most of their high school experience, we have designed a comprehensive course registration process that will lay the foundation for their future success.


One of the first transition steps is course selection and registration for the 2024-2025 school year. With your support, your student will be selecting classes for their ninth grade year. These decisions will be very important. In many instances, these choices will have a significant influence on the academic future of your student. We encourage you to discuss at home with your student these course selections. If you have questions regarding specific course placement or selection, please start with your student's middle school counselor or teacher(s).


The academic success and well being of your child will always be a high priority at Eastview High School. We look forward to our partnership with you as we strive to provide an outstanding high school experience.

8th Grade Parent/Guardian Registration Info Session

All 8th grade parents/guardians are invited to participate in our "Registration Information Session" on January 16th at 6:30pm in the EVHS Performing Arts Center. There will be a presentation followed by an opportunity to ask questions and talk with our program and department leaders. A video recording will be available on our homepage for later viewing.

Introduction to High School Registration Informational Video

All 8th grade students will view an informational video during middle school homeroom/advisory on January 16th-January 17th. This video will kick off the registration process and introduce them to the many opportunities available to them at Eastview High School. The video will be made available for parents and families on our homepage.


*NOTE: 8th graders will come to EVHS for an in-person visit in mid-May.

High School Counselor Registration Classroom Visits

Eastview High School Counselors will visit eighth grade classes at Blackhawk, Falcon Ridge and Scott Highlands Middle Schools on Thursday, January 18th. They will provide registration handouts and resources to guide students through course selection and the actual registration process in Infinite Campus. A how-to video will be posted on our webpage for reference during the registration window.

Electives Exploration Virtual Open House

Elective program and department leaders at EVHS will be hosting an Electives Exploration Virtual Open House on Monday, January 22nd. This is an opportunity for you to meet with our elective program and department leaders to learn more about the unique opportunities available to our students through elective courses. Each department leader will host a 20-minute Zoom session with a brief presentation followed by a questions and answers. You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you would like. The schedule and Zoom links are listed on our webpage. We look forward to sharing the exciting opportunities available through our elective course offerings!

Course Registration Due: January 25

All course selections need to be entered online by Thursday, January 25. We will send you a letter confirming course selections in the spring. Once courses are confirmed, it will be very difficult to make changes as we use this information to build the schedule and hire staff. Please know that we are here to support you and your student(s) through this process. We look forward to welcoming you to the Eastview Family!
