Conroe Police Department is enforcing no parking along White Oak Blvd at any time. If your child is a walker but you need to park a car, you may park at the Church of Christ parking lot (1860 Longmire Rd). This parking lot directly connects to our staff parking lot and you can access the walker dismissal gate avoiding the subdivision altogether. A safe walking path has been created to be able to use this additional space and many of our families benefit from this.

Our walker gate clears by 3:15 pm each day. Students that are not picked up by then will be returned to the classroom and placed in the car rider line. If you need additional car rider sign tags, please stop by the front office with a valid ID.

This information has been in our Student Handbook all year and more information can be found on page 3. The handbook is shared weekly in our Giesinger Gazette.

Please DO NOT send any personal recess equipment to school with your child. This includes footballs, basketballs, or any other personal items that can be used. We are very thankful to be able to provide students with a variety of equipment so personal items are not needed.

February is dental health month and a healthy mouth is very important for a healthy body! Help keep your kids’ mouths in tip-top shape by:

• Brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste

• Flossing daily

• Limiting sugary drinks

• Replacing your toothbrush every 3-4 months or when bristles become frayed and worn

• Visiting the dentist 2 times a year for a cleaning and checkup

We love seeing happy, healthy smiles! If you need any assistance with dental supplies or finding a dentist please contact the clinic.

The safety of our students is our top priority, including before and after school. Please help us with following the reminders below.

• Do not drop students off on the front porch unattended before 7:15 am.
• Do not park along White Oak Blvd at any time. Our parking lot is small so guests can use the Church of Christ parking lot (1860 Longmire Rd) to park and walk through the pathway to our campus.

Thank you for your donations last week in our Snack Drive. Our campus has committed to providing 2 snack times a day for our students. Many students bring their own snack but we do have students that are not able to bring a snack from home and your generosity will help give everyone this opportunity to have a little extra in their tummies and focus on learning.

The winning grade level is 1st Grade and will get to celebrate a grade level PJ party! Your teachers will let you know when they are celebrating PJ's.

What Eagles are in the Nest? We are starting an attendance raffle this month and will randomly call for students to enter their name if they are at school on the designated days. We began a couple of weeks ago and students that were here the day of the announcement got to participate in the first opportunity to enter the raffle. Winners this month will receive a gift card to our School Store. Stay tuned for the winners...

Attendance is super important and a large indicator of school success. Help us reach our attendance goal by having students at school each day, on time.
