YOUR WEEKLY COMMUNICATION ABOUT ALL THINGS MURASKI
A Message from the Principals
We hope this email finds you well after a great weekend. If you are a Cleveland sports fan, it can't get any better. The Guards swept the Twins in a big weekend series, the Buckeyes (Cleveland-ish) won a game they should have, and the Browns still have my heart racing, as a 58 yard field goal earned them their first season opener win in 18 years. WOW! If the weekend was any indicator, it's going to be an incredible week at Muraski!
Be sure to take a look at the items below, as there are some important things going on this week with our PTA and at Muraski.
BE SURE TO ENJOY DINNER AT CULVERS TONIGHT!!!!
Also, today is the final day to order your mums. These were beautiful last year, and an all around great purchase for your fall decor!

PBIS Update @ Muraski
Over the next two weeks, we will provide information about PRIDE Reminders, which our students started to receive this week. In addition to letting you know what we give PRIDE Reminders for, we will will also communicate how we respond when PRIDE Reminders are necessary.
This week, you will see how we've defined behavior would be classified minor infractions.
Based on the infraction, as well as the frequency in which they occur, students could receive the following for infractions:
- PRIDE Reminders
- 1on1 Verbal Conversations
- Reflection Sheets
- 15 minute Recess Detentions
- Before/After School Detentions
- Restorative Learning Projects
- Corrective Learning Environment
Other disciplinary measures can be utilized based on the severity of infraction. These measures align with the student handbook shared in previous newsletters.
It is important to note that students must earn their way into the Monthly Incentive. Our monthly incentive for September is a Field Day to go along with Muraski Football Night on September 30th.
