Here to serve the students of BHS and their Parents!
Come visit our Parent Center located at Bloomington High School, all parents, students, and community members are WELCOME. We host special events, and workshops for the surrounding community, along with providing resources for those most in need in our Bruin community.
The Center is a resource for parents to collaborate with teachers in their children’s education.
We welcome all Bloomington High School parents to participate in the English Language Advisory Council known as ELAC they meet monthly at the Parent Center throughout the school year. Attendance and support is highly recommended.
Our Community Liaisons on site are Blanca Haro and Rafael Davila. Both are fully Bilingual and they facilitate the center and maintain communication with parents, teachers, students, and the overall surrounding community.

Parent Project
About them:
Our mission is to develop parent-training programs for parents raising difficult or out-of-control children. We are committed to providing highly effective programs that are accessible for every parent.
How the Program Works:
- Parents meet one night per week for two to three hours per night.
- The Parent Project activity-based curriculum allows parents to learn and practice behavior management techniques at home.
- Parent support groups are formed using the UCLA self-help support group model.
- Program orientation: behavior modification.

Parent Institute for Quality Education - PIQE
The Family Engagement Program seeks to educate, empower, and inspire families to take an active role in their student’s education while building community and a peer-to-peer network. Families are engaged in programming that encourages fostering a positive educational environment at home and at school to increase academic success. Families better understand how to navigate the school system, access relevant information for student success, and college admission requirements.
- 8-week program | Orientation, 5 weeks of content, Community Dialogue, Graduation
- Once a week, 75 minute-sessions virtual and 90 minute-session in-person
- Includes Social Emotional and Digital Literacy Component

Bruin eSports Club
The purpose of our club is to provide a fun, social space for eSports players of all skill levels and interests at Bloomington High School through organized events and competitions; we want to promote the growth of the eSports community between all gamers.
Club meets in Room 65, Tuesday and Thursdays After School
