A Cimarron Middle School community communication
Greetings Cimarron Community! We cannot believe how quickly the first semester has come and gone, and we continue to be amazed by our wonderful community, parents, students, and staff. We couldn't have done this without you and deeply appreciate your continued partnership with Cimarron.
We will wrap up this amazing quarter next week with our continued spirit days and Be Red grade level assemblies.
During each assembly we will recognize our Be Red students of the quarter, acknowledge teams in each grade level for their contributions to our turkey drive and canned food drive, and award the team spirit sticks.
We want to wish our students, families, and entire community a wonderful and cheerful winter break. See you in the new year!
Cimarron’s Lost and Found will be on display near the front office next week. If your student has lost items this quarter, please encourage them to look through all the items. Parents are welcome to drop by the school to look for items as well. All items not claimed by the end of day on Thursday, December 21st will be donated to a local school in need.
Festival of Trees
Thank you for all the PTO and community support and turn out for the Festival of Trees event. We couldn't have done it without you all!
4 REASONS TO TALK TO YOUR CHILD ABOUT E-CIGARETTES TODAY
Talking with your child about smoking and vaping can be difficult, and some parents avoid the discussion altogether. In this video, you will learn the important reasons why you should talk with your child about vaping.
Wellness/PE Class Reminder
A friendly reminder about the importance of dressing out for Physical Education and Wellness classes!
Proper attire, including athletic shoes, is crucial for ensuring a safe and productive PE experience. Dressing out not only supports your child's comfort and safety during physical activities but also promotes a positive and inclusive class environment. Please encourage your child to consistently adhere to the dress code for PE. If your student has outgrown or lost their PE clothes, they are available for purchase throughout the school year.
Thank you for your cooperation in promoting a healthy and active learning environment.
