Hello Conroe Tiger Families,

Thank you for your support as we transition into this new school year. The beginning of school is always filled with excitement for both our students and our staff. We understand how our current situation of a global pandemic has presented many challenges and obstacles to our school, our preparation, and normalcy as we have known it. We know and understand that Covid-19 has caused many challenges in your homes as well. We know that if we work together, we can work through these challenges and do our best to educate our students.

Thank you for selecting your student’s choice of face to face, in-person instruction or virtual instruction. Remember, you have the ability to change this preference at the conclusion of the first marking period. Conroe I.S.D. has made a district decision to begin the school year virtually for all students beginning on August 12th. Please understand that this will give our campus an opportunity to make sure that we have the best possible safety procedures in place for our students and staff. Our campus will “ramp up” through September 4th. During this time, our teachers will begin instruction online and attendance will be taken virtually. We will have the students that chose in-person instruction in the building on Tuesday, September 8th.

If you informed the campus that you need assistance with technology, we will distribute Chromebooks on Friday, August 7th from 11AM-1PM (A-K) and 4PM - 6PM (L-Z). We will distribute again on Monday, August 10th from 11AM-1PM (L-Z)) and 4PM - 6PM (A-K) as well. Your homeroom teacher will be reaching to you this week to verify that we have your information and remind you about our August 12th procedures.

Students will be able to view their schedules in Student Access by Thursday, August 6th. Please consult the CHS Counselors Website for contact information and scheduling procedures. On Friday, we will provide you with a video presentation that will explain how virtual school will work for all of our students.

We appreciate your patience and support! Please reach out to your child's counselor, assistant principal if you have any questions or concern. We are here to help and support our Conroe Tiger Families any way we can!

Thursday, August 6th - Schedules available for viewing in Student Access
Friday, August 7th - Chromebook pickups 11 - 1PM (A-K); 4PM - 6PM (L-M) (if requested during registration)
Monday, August 10th - Chromebook pickups 11 - 1PM (L-M); 4PM - 6PM (A-K) (if requested during registration)
Wednesday, August 12th - First Day of School for all Students (every student is Virtual)
Tuesday, September 8th - Face to face instruction begins
