Message from the Principal
Thank you to all the parents who took time out of their busy schedules to attend our parent-teacher conferences. We appreciate you building this partnership with us and want you to know that we want to see your child/ren grow socially, emotionally, and academically this year.

Students can purchase breakfast starting at 7:45 a.m., when the gates open.
Annual Update
At the start of the school year, we request each family to update and verify important information such as address, phone numbers, emergency contacts, handbook consents, etc.
Please log into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account (click here) to make any necessary changes to your family's account.
Once you log into your account, please follow these steps:
- Click on "More" on the bottom left hand side of the portal screen
- Click on "Annual Update and New Student Registration"
- Click on "Start" next to the second 23-24 line that says "Not Started"
- Click "Begin Registration"
- If you are using the app, click the three lines on the top left, click on "More", and then click on "Annual Update and New Student Registration".
This update must be completed annually.
Please be advised that the answers provided on the Annual Update for the 22-23 school year will be end dated, so it's important that you complete this update for the 23-24 school year in order to have valid information for items such as Media Release, Internet Release, Virtual Consent, etc.

Site Council
It is time to convene the CTA Goodman Site Council for the 2023-2024 school year. The role of Site Council is to help support continuous improvement efforts for our school.
We are looking for members that are highly committed to the children at CTA Goodman and want to be a collaborative member of our team.
If you are interested in serving on Site Council this year, please use the link below to submit an interest form no later than September 1st. If we have more interest than spots, we will do a lottery drawing.

If you are able to make your tax contributions early in the year, your donation would be greatly appreciated and give us a jump start on some of our extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities include Running Club, Art Club, Choir, Theater Club, STUCO, Science Camp and may other activites.

Tax Credit Basics…
A tax credit donation is a full refund, not a deduction. Contributions eligible for a tax credit are donated directly to schools, not to the state or school district. To participate or learn more, follow the link listed below to donate online or you can complete the enclosed form and submit your contribution at your convenience.

Arizona Law ARS 43-1089.01 enables taxpayers a tax credit contribution of up to $400.00 per year if filing status is “Married, filing Joint Return;” $200.00 per calendar year if filing status is “Single of Head of Household;” and $200 per calendar year if filing status is “Married filing separate returns.” These contributions fund extracurricular activities in public schools and greatly impact our school community and our students.
Kids Express is Hiring
We need Kids Express workers. This job is perfect for college students. They can work part-time and still get great benefits because they are working for a school district. It really is part-time work with full-time fun! If you know someone who might be interested in joining our Community Education team, please encourage them to apply. Chandler CARE Center
The Chandler CARE Center will be registering families for holiday assistance from August 28th – September 29th. The CARE Center provides Thanksgiving food boxes with the ingredients needed to prepare a holiday meal at home in November, and toys/gifts for children 0-18 in December.
Registration IS required to participate. Register in-person at the CARE Center (777 E. Galveston St, Chandler, AZ 85225). This is a one family per household only event, please bring:
- Picture ID
- Proof of address (Chandler Residents or CUSD Families ONLY)
- Proof of school enrollment (CUSD Parent Portal) for all school-age children
- Birth certificate for all children not in school
Keep an eye out on the CARE Center’s website and social media for upcoming information about donation and volunteer opportunities!
The Hope Institute Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
The Hope Institute is ready to open its doors and we would like to invite you to join us for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, August 30th at 6:30 pm to officially welcome them to our community! (1845 E. Queen Creek Rd. Gilbert, AZ 85297).
Phoenix Rising School Challenge
Represent Chandler Unified School District at Phoenix Rising FC's Back to School night on Saturday, September 2nd. Scan the QR code or clink here to take advantage of discounted tickets to the match while supporting CUSD as $3 of every ticket sold will come back to the district.
