Boys Lacrosse Parent Player Meeting
Come and learn more about the upcoming Boys Lacrosse season, meet the coaches, and ask questions. Anyone from 9th-12th grade is invited to attend. The meeting is on January 29th, at 6pm in the Library. Stay for team conditioning at 7pm.
Juniors! Utah Higher Ed Day is coming
On January 30th, Juniors will be excused from the 3rd and 4th periods to attend Utah Higher Ed Day. All Juniors are required to attend and best dress is recommended. Meet college representatives from BYU, BYU-I, Snow, SUU, U of U, MTECH, USU, Utah Tech, UVU, Weber and Westminster. Learn about program and scholarships. A Night of Romance
SHS Chamber Orchestra proudly presents "A Night of Romance" on January 31st. This event will be held at the Springville Art Museum, starting at 6pm.

Early Childhood Education Class available - Come be a Little Red Preschool Teacher
Students, did you know we have a preschool at SHS? We do! You can be a part of it! Early Childhood Education is a year-long class where you get to learn all about teaching and interacting with children and then put it into practice in a real preschool lab classroom. Talk to your counselor about adding Early Childhood Education to your academic plan today! *Child Development prerequisite.
Dance Socials are back!
Help us start a new normal! Dance socials are back, once a month, like when our grandparents danced each week in town! We're not just talking about your grandma's two-step – we've got it all! Swing dancing, line dancing, west coast swing, night club two-step – you name it.
So, grab your crew, you don't wanna miss out. See you on the dance floor! Come every month if you want with your friends and newfound connections. monthly dance social at the Salem Activity Center
8 PM – 45 minutes of expert dance instruction: Swing dancing, line dancing, west coast swing, night club two-step, waltz, cha- cha, ect
8:45 - 10 PM Dance
Each gathering will consist of 45 minutes of dance instruction, providing you with the opportunity to learn new skills and improve self-confidence. Following the instruction, there will be 1.5 hours of interactive dancing, allowing time to practice what you have learned and create unforgettable memories. All dance socials are on Saturdays. The first Date is January 27th.

Sweethearts 2024 - Hearts Aglow
Sweethearts will be held February 17th from 7-10 in the G Wing Gym. Tickets are $25 a couple or $15 a single and will be sold at the door. Semi formal dress. Girls Choice.
Chinese New Year Celebration
Nebo Chinese Dual Language Immersion Program presents: 2024 Chinese New Year Celebration. Dragon and Lion Dance, Food, Games and Performances will be held on Thursday, February 15th at Springville High School in the Cafeteria and Auditorium. Booth activities will be held from 6-7pm and performances will be from 7-8pm. Admission is FREE!
Senior Grad Night Party Parent Meeting
Senior Grade Night Parent Information Meeting! February 26th @ 7pm in Room C-11 (Mr. Morgan's Room) Parents and Guardians, we are having a meeting for anyone interested in helping us for Senior Grad Night. In this meeting, we will talk about information about Senior Grad Night and any roles that we need help with to make this the best event for our Seniors.

Auditions for Dance Co will be held on April 24th. Clinics will be on April 22 and 23rd for interested dancers.
SHS Ballroom Dance Team Auditions
SHS Ballroom Dance team auditions will be held on May 1st. Parents meeting will be April 22nd at 7pm in the SHS Dance Studio. Clinics will be April 29th and 30th.

Utah Valley University Nursing Open House
Please join UVU at the Utah Valley University Nursing Open House on Friday, February 23rd. Session times are 2, 2:30, and 3pm. Sessions are 30 minutes, including Q & A. Get to know the faculty, tour our facilities including our Simulation Lab, and learn how to apply to our program. If you have any questions, please email ppac@uvu.edu. Utah Parent Center Presents: Helping Neurodiverse Children at Home
Join us for a free online workshop on Tuesday, January 30th, from 7-8:30pm via Zoom. This presentation will use the "Polyvagal Theory" to help parents understand the different states of a child's brain and teach coping strategies they can use to help their neurodiverse child stay calm, learn and connect.
