ExCEL Art Club Update
I am thrilled to share a wonderful initiative from our 3rd through 5th Grade Art Club! The talented young artists in the club recently collaborated to create inspiring and positive message posters that now adorn various spaces throughout our building.
Spreading Positivity Through Art:
The Art Club's project is more than just a display—it's a visual reminder of the positive culture that we are committed to fostering within our school community. These vibrant and uplifting posters serve as beacons of encouragement, building up each and every student who walks through our doors.
Climb to Feed Fund Raising!
We are thrilled to announce the incredible success of our recent Climb to Feed fundraiser! Thanks to your generosity and support, we collectively raised an impressive $600. Your donations will make a meaningful impact, contributing to our community Climb to Feed program. In addition to the fantastic fundraising results, it was an absolute delight to witness the creativity and enthusiasm during our students and staff on our dress-up days. From quirky costumes to themed outfits, our JAGS showcased not only generosity but also a fantastic sense of fun and community spirit.
Updates and Information
Gymnastics Unit in PhyEd
This month students kindergarten through 5th grade are engaging in a gymnastics unit! Activities like gymnastics can contribute to the overall development of students, promoting physical fitness, coordination, and teamwork. Students had the opportunity to perfect their skills in balance, tumbling, and endurance while trying out different equipment. Such activities not only support physical well-being but also provide a fun and interactive learning experience for students.
