Back live on stage and better than ever, Eastview High School Performing Arts Department presents BRAVO! 2022: The Best of BRAVO! Celebrating our 25th year of entertaining audiences with incredible singing, music, and dance, this year's production will showcase some of our favorites since 1997. You are not going to want to miss it!

NOTE: Due to illness in the cast/crews, we have rescheduled the April 19th Senior Preview to Tuesday, April 26th at 3:30pm. The April 21st and 22nd performances have been cancelled. Refunds will be issued at the point of purchase. We have added a 2pm show on Saturday, April 30th and Sunday, May 1st.

All seats are reserved. Tickets are on sale now at Vanco Events. Tickets are non-refundable, unless the event is canceled or postponed.

The Attendance Office is looking for facial tissue (Kleenex) donations. if you can help, please drop off your donations at the Attendance Office next week. Thank you!

Every Wednesday students can benefit from an opportunity for academic support from 2:45pm – 4:15pm in the Learning Commons. Students are supported to complete their schoolwork learning in a supervised setting. Faculty and staff are available along with upper-class peer tutors (especially skilled in Mathematics). Students will identify their priorities (“What I Need” or “What’s Important Now”), create a plan for the most efficient use of their time, celebrate their accomplishments, and leave with a plan for continued success. Students do not need to sign up in advance for WIN Time. We do ask that students plan to be there for the start at 2:45pm so they can benefit from the full support. We will keep a log of students and their engagement (arrival/departure time and their focus/work while they are there). For students needing transportation home, activity buses will be available departing at 5:15pm.

The final day of Quarter 3 is Friday, April 8.

Students in District 196 will be provided breakfast and lunch at no cost during the 2021-22 school year due to a grant provided by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture. All families are still encouraged to complete an Educational Benefits Application, formerly the free and reduced-price meals application. Upon approval, these benefits are extended to Activities/Athletics fees and more. A new application must be submitted each year.

Senior Families: Graduation is 46 days away! How's your checklist coming?

1. Grad Fee was due on Friday, April 15th. $40 fee is payable on MyPaymentsPlus. Students with Educational Benefits have this fee waived, but still need to complete the checkout process in MyPaymentsPlus.

2. Keep watching this space in the Announcements for up-to-date information about graduation and the all-night grad party. You can also check out the Senior Information page on our website.

Celebrate your Senior with a custom poster that is hung up in the Eastview halls the last week of school and for the senior party! They can then bring them home and use them at a grad party as well! These posters can be ordered created through Cornerstone Printing or you can hand make them and have them laminated at Cornerstone. See attached flyer (more info to come in the parent emails).

The 2022 All-Night Senior Party is a chemical-free lock-in at EVHS on June 4, 2022 from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am. Students will enjoy a night filled with music, games, activities, food, prizes and more! Each year this party is a highlight for graduating seniors with at least 80% of the class attending. All April ticket registrations will be entered into a drawing to win a Card My Yard!!

STORAGE ROOM NEEDED

For the past several years, a former EV parent had generously donated a locked storage room in the basement of a business in Lakeville. We need to vacate this facility in June 2022 and are in need of a new space! Can anyone help?! This could be a lockable room in a business building, an actual storage space, or any other creative ideas people have! Counseling Office Newsletter Archives

Seniors who applied for an Eastview Community Scholarship have been notified of their application status via the email they used on their application.

All scholarship recipients should complete the Google Form included in the email. This information is needed to put the award ceremony program together.

The Eastview Community Foundation Scholarship Award Ceremony will be held on Monday, April 25th in the Performing Arts Center. Program will begin at 7 PM. Please arrive by 6:30 PM.

Every Wednesday at 2:30pm

Tutors available until 3:30pm

Homework Time until 4:00pm

Learning Commons

All students/math levels welcome!

Students should stop by the Counseling Office and get a pass to attend the college/university/military Rep Visit prior to the right visit. These university/college or military visits are small group meetings typically lasting 20-30 minutes. These admission reps are often times the same people that review college applications, so it's a great connection for students.

Please “Save the Date” of Sunday, May 22nd at 6:30 p.m. for our 2022 Senior Athletic Recognition Ceremony to be held in the Main Gym at Eastview High School. We will honor our Seniors participating in collegiate athletics, our Senior Lightning Award Winners, our Senior Three Sport Athletes and our Athletic Department Students of the Year. We will be sending out more details in the weeks ahead, but want to be sure you have it on your calendars!

Eastview Sideline Cheer has spots open for the 2022 Football Cheer season. Come be a part of our EVHS Cheer family!

Eligibility: Female or Male EVHS students grade 8-11 in the 2022-2023 school year. Experience is NOT required.

DAKOTA HAWKS SOFTBALL WINS OVER NEW PRAGUE

Monday was the home opener for the Dakota Hawks Softball team. Hawks played a great game, total team effort in the defeat of New Prague by a score of 10-5. Hawks have started their season with back to back wins. This Wednesday ,the team travels to Lakeville for a 4:30pm game at Century Middle School.

FCCLA Members: We will have our monthly meeting Tuesday, April 19th at 6:00pm in C139.

Thursday, April 21st is Feed My Starving Children from 7-8:30 pm In Eagan. Please sign up here so we get an accurate count to give them.
