Sixth grade class is hard at work preparing displays for Open House. Since we study Ancient Civilizations, the students have completed Cave art mimicking the First Civilizations work.
We are integrating Religion with their golden pyramid structures. For each side of the pyramid we will use a favorite Bible passage in English, translated in hieroglyphics, their native language, and finally, a language they would like to learn.
Mrs. Cordano keeps her art classes focused and moving, and the class has just begun their 3-d mummies. And before you know it, we will be displaying everything in the classroom for all to see.
