Dear St. Anne Parents,

On behalf of all the faculty and staff here at St. Anne School, I want to wish everyone a very Happy, Healthy, and Blessed Easter.

Together we have made this year a pretty great experience for our students. It has not been an easy year, but understanding what it takes to keep our students, staff, and families educated, healthy, and safe, everyone has made those needed sacrifices and we have remained healthy. I would like to ask everyone, once again, to be aware of what is needed to keep our school virus-free, especially when so many of our families will be gathering with out of the home family members and friends over the coming Easter break. The virus is STILL here with us and if we let our guard down, all we are doing is opening up the door to invite the virus to continue to spread and possibly get a foot in the door here at school. Masking and social distancing are still two key components that can keep people free of the virus. Thanks for your on-going vigilance!!!

Have a good Easter break and we look forward to seeing everyone on April 12.

Tomorrow, April 1, is a 12:30 dismissal. Please make note of this pick-up time. Easter Vacation extends from Friday, April 2, through Friday, April 9. School resumes Monday, April 12.

Re-registration is now open for the 2021-2022 school year. Our re-registration process is being handled through SMART Tuition this year and moving forward. SMART Tuition will send a re-registration invoice noting the $350.00 per child in addition to your monthly tuition fee. If you wish to pay your re-registration fee separately, you may do so by contacting SMART Tuition via the "Parent Contact Center". Registration fees are due no later than Friday, April 16.

If a family is not returning to St. Anne School, please email Mrs. Finnegan at Finnegan@stanne.com indicating your child(ren) will not be returning in August. If you would like to discuss any issue with Mr. White, please send an email to White@stanne.com.

Today our Student Council sponsored an Easter Egg Roll for all the classes. Each class was first treated to an cheer from the Spirit Squad (minus one member).

Save the date! Our annual 5K Walk-a-thon is back and will be held on Friday, May 14th. The packet is available and can be downloaded via the newsletter or from the school website at (www.stanne.com). In the packet you will find all the information pertaining to this fun-filled event.

Key dates for fabulous prizes:

April 5: All participants who submit a t-shirt design by this date will receive a homework pass

April 5: Register and enter 10 names into Pledgestar to receive a free dress pass

April 19: Early birds who meet this year's goal and submit donations by this date will receive a homework pass

May 14: Deadline for match gifts to arrive; submit match requests ASAP to ensure your employer has time to process and send payments to St. Anne to receive a homework pass

All incoming 7th graders are required by law to have proof of a whooping cough booster (Tdap) shot on file. Be prepared, start your planning and get your 6th grader vaccinated early - before the fall back-to-school rush!

After much thought, I have decided not to offer a summer program this year. We all know how challenging this year has been for everyone. Our teachers have gone above and beyond for their students. I would like to give them a break over the summer. With a little R and R everyone will be starting off our new year with renewed energy and enthusiasm. I know this announcement will be disappointing to many of you, but I know that you can understand why I needed to make this decision. Thanks for your understanding.

The Girl Scouts present opportunities for girls kindergarten through eighth grade to pursue interests individually and with others. Now, girls can participate both live and virtually. See the flyer for more information about joining.

Despite the present difficult circumstances, we will be having a yearbook as in other years. The content will be a little different than usual with limited activities but it is a year to be remembered. It can be ordered through Beverly Perea for $30. Download the form and send it to school with your child. If you are doing Distance Learning, you can mail it to the school with your check or drop it off on the bookshelf at the top of the stairs at the main entrance to the school.

If you have a child who will be starting Kindergarten next year, please fill out his/her application and send it to Mrs. Finnegan as soon as possible.
