The Eagle Expo

A huge thank you to our PTA and our patrons for an awesome fundraiser Friday night. There are some pretty awesome pictures out there! What a great night to gather together, have fun and support our school. Thank you!!

Our teachers, staff and students have been working extra hard this month getting baseline literacy data for all students. This will allow teachers to plan very specific lessons that meet each child's needs. It is so exciting to see the growth that can occur as teachers use this information to drive their classroom instruction. I appreciate our teachers and tutors so much for working so closely together to meet student needs. I also am very proud of our students - they have worked so hard and are really amazing kids!

PTA provides so many important and fun things that help make Art City such a great school. In order to accomplish all these things, we need your help! You can volunteer for a very short time, to do something from home or contribute to events. You do not have to be on committees, work in classrooms or volunteer to be part of PTA. There are a lot of horrible phone/email scams out there. One that pops up quite often is someone saying I have an emergency and need gift cards immediately. The latest is having Nebo School District pop up on the caller ID, but the number is not a Nebo number. If you ever get a 'weird' or 'off' call from the district or school please hang up and call us right away. We will never do this! If it feels off, it probably is!
