Coleman Middle School will become a student-focused community which promotes life-long learning and real-world problem solving through the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math in a global learning community.

The mission of Coleman Middle School is to provide students with rigorous and innovative learning opportunities using Project / Problem Based Learning (PBL) which promote collaboration, critical thinking, community, and creativity.

Please be on the lookout for your student's report card - they are coming home TODAY. Take a moment to review it with your child. Also make sure to talk to your child about his/her goals for 2nd semester.

If your student is not meeting promotion criteria at the end of 1st semester, make sure they attend Saturday School which begins TOMORROW!

6th grade is requesting clean and empty 2-liter bottles for their Q3 PBL. If you have any spare bottles to donate, please have your child bring them to Mrs. Manoj in the 6th grade hallway. Thank you.

The second annual Duluth Cluster STEAM/STEM Expo will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020. This event will showcase student projects in STEAM and/or STEM from each of the seven Duluth cluster schools. The Expo will be held at Duluth High School from 5:30- 7 PM. Students are expected to be with their submission during the Expo.

Please have students submit science fair projects, PBL (project based learning) presentations, prototypes, inventions, art work, theatrical and musical performances, etc. from this school year - anything that is STEAM or STEM related that they would like to exhibit to the Duluth community.

Beginning on January 24th, students will no longer be able to access eCLASS using Internet Explorer (IE) due to our provider, D2L, officially ending support for the IE browser. If users attempt to open C&I with IE, they will receive a message directing them to use a different browser. Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and all major mobile browsers are still supported.
