As many of you know our SKIP organization does a lot of amazing activities for our students, and helps provide items for our teachers to benefit our students. One of the ways they are able to do this is through their fundraising they do. They are working the concession stand for the Elementary Shoot Out March 4th and 5th and could use a few more hands to help out. If you are able to help out, please reach out and we can get you in touch with some members of SKIP to get you signed up.

The students will be going to the Robidoux Theater in St. Joseph on Wednesday, March 1st to see Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka. You should have seen permission slips come home already about this, and hopefully you've turned yours back in. The students are able to attend this field trip due to the generous donations from SKIP. Thank you SKIP for allowing our students this experience!

Even though we are getting into March now, we all know the weather can still be all over the place. Please make sure your child has what they need for outdoor recess.

• A coat. Hoodies are not enough when the temperatures get cold.
• Stocking hat and gloves
• No shorts
• Students must have snow pants and snow boots in order to play in the snow.
  

It's hard to believe the end of third quarter is right around the corner! The year has been flying by! March 10th marks the end of third quarter, and third quarter grade cards will be mailed out by Friday, March 17th.

I also wanted to give you a heads up on when we will be conducting MAP testing this spring. 5th Grade will begin testing for the Science portion of the MAP test on April 26th & 27th. 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade will begin testing for the ELA portion of the MAP test on May 2nd - May 4th. Those grade levels will finish up testing on the Math portion of the MAP test on May 9th - May 11th.
