We had a wonderful week of celebrations at the K-8 campus. It was K-5 Awards with Kinder and 5th grade recognitions along with awards to all our K-5 scholars. We also had a wonderful 8th grade promotion ceremony along with an opportunity to celebrate Ms. Paulson on her retirement. We will miss her. 27 years of service to our TUSD community! This coming week is senior graduation on Thursday at 3 pm along with a modified schedule for the last week. More details below.
This week's background features pictures from our K-5 awards ceremony, K/5 graduation, and 8th grade promotion! It's always so fun to celebrate the wondeful moments.

Principal's Message...
It was a busy week across the board for all of our Mavericks. Between awards assemblies and recognitions at the K-8 campus to Finals Week at the High School campus, it's been busy for sure. As a reminder, Monday is a holiday and we have a modified schedule at the K-5 for students.
If you have a moment, as part of the formalized process to collect input for the National Educational Technology Plan (NETP), a series of national polls will allow stakeholders to provide input to the development of a new NETP. Your voice and representation of the Independent Study community is important to this process. This short surveys will take less than 10 minutes to complete. The poll is about 10 questions, most of which are multiple-choice or ranking questions. Your responses to these questions are 100% confidential. They are not asking for your name or any identifying information here that would allow anyone to determine your identity. All responses provided will be aggregated into a national data set for analysis. The survey is available in English and Spanish. The first question will identify the preferred language of the person filling out the survey.
Have a great 3 day weekend and Happy Memorial Day!
