Today's Activity: Numbers All Around
Today's activities are about making numbers.
Find some facts and figures, find some really big numbers. Make a Chatta board and practice saying the numbers. It could be thousands, millions or billions.
Set out on a number-fact search. Find as many facts as you can that include large numbers.
Activity for younger children:
Number Hunt
Go on a number hunt, around the house or when out and about. Your child will be amazed by how many numbers are all around us. Even if they can’t read the numbers - they will probably recognise them as numbers. Take photos of your number spots and add them to a Chatta board. Describe where they where found and what they relate to, dates on a calendar, numbers on a clock, prices in a magazine...
