EATONVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PRESENTS
Disney Spectacular!
Featuring the EES 2nd grade classes
DATE: Thursday, May 26, 2022
TIME: 7:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Eatonville High School Theater
When should my child be at school?
All EES 2nd Grade students need to report to the EHS Band Room in North Hall directly behind the auditorium at 6:40 for attendance and to prepare for the program lineup. NOTE: Please keep your child’s jacket and other personal items with you when they report to the band room.
What should my child wear?
Nice looking clothes/shoes. No T-shirts please. Due to copyright laws, students are NOT allowed to dress up as Disney characters unfortunately.
Is my child required to perform in this program?
Yes, if at all possible. Since February, most of our music time has been spent on preparing for this program. Students have worked on singing, choreography, and concert etiquette skills based on state performance standards. The program is a final evaluation and counts towards your child’s music performance grade. If your child is unable to attend the performance, please e-mail me at j.hunter@eatonville.wednet.edu, or send a note to school to have them excused.
The students have been working very hard on this program. Feel free to bring the family…and remember to bring the camera! Thank you for the privilege of working with your child!
Sincerely,
Jason Hunter
Eatonville Elementary Music Director

MOVING?
GOING TO A NEW SCHOOL?
Please let the office know as soon as possible.
Nominations should be turned into the school office where the student attends. The Grange Committee always enjoys reading the many ideas that students express in the nominations.
Forms are available at each school, or you may print from this link provided and turn in at your student's school.
Dear EES Grades 3-5 Families:
This spring your student in grades 3-8 and 10 will take the Smarter Balanced tests in math and English language arts. Students in grades 5 will also take the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS).
The results from these tests will give a more accurate picture of whether students are on track to be ready for college or career.
Most students will take the tests online. Our school is scheduled to take the tests May 16-June 2.
Click on this link for more information about the Smarter Balanced and WCAS tests, and this link to try out an online practice test Smarter Balanced practice test or WCAS training test.
You can call or email your child’s teacher or me if you have questions about state testing.
Thank you for continuing to work with us to make sure your student is successful. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to better support your student. We want your student to leave us with a solid foundation of skills and a future full of opportunities.
Sincerely,
Timothy J. Leipold
