GT Family Series - Lights, Camera, Create!

The GT Family Series is back to provide your child a platform to publish a documentary on a historical figure, create a fresh and fun TV commercial, create a soapbox cart out of recyclable materials, or build a rainforest observation tower out of recyclable materials!


Registration is open from December 1 through December 10, and the video submission deadline is January 14. PLEASE CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!

PACE (Fort Bend Association of Parents for Academic Excellence) Lunch and Learn Event

GT Mentorship Information Meetings - Current GT-Identified Juniors

All GT-identified juniors in the district will have an opportunity to attend a GT Mentorship information meeting on their campus during the school day. Parents will also have an opportunity to learn about GT Mentorship during two designated parent meetings. Please click here to view the full schedule.

GT PAC Information

The GT PAC committee held its monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. GT PAC members received information about connecting with their campus Champion of Gifted Services (COGS), GT Family Series Winter Challenge, and the work of the FBISD GT Implementation Team Work Streams. In addition, GT PAC members worked in the GT Parent Symposium Committee, Parent Engagement Committee, or GT Family Resources Committee. The focus of these subcommittees includes finalizing dates for the GT Parent Symposium, establishing relationships with the school community, and researching 2E resources for “Twice Exceptional” students, respectively.


We are currently recruiting GT PAC members for campuses without representation. The campuses with full representation are Clements HS, Commonwealth ES, Cornerstone ES, Madden ES, Malala ES, Palmer ES, Quail Valley MS, Settlers Way ES, Sullivan ES, Walker Station ES, and Willowridge HS. If your campus is not listed please consider completing the PAC Interest Form if you would like to join the GT PAC.

Mind Neurology

We are happy to welcome back Dr. Jontel Pierce for a second year! Dr. Pierce owns the MIND Neurology Clinic just outside of Telfair, and she will be a mentor to one of our Bush High School seniors.

Satori Agency

Satori Agency is a new mentor this year, and we are thrilled to bring Marche Warfield and her team aboard! One of our Clements High School students will be learning all about marketing, advertising, public relations, and account management.

Methodist Hospital Sugar Land

With the expert assistance of Mary Harris, Director of Education and Magnet, we will have three students being mentored at Methodist Hospital Sugar Land! Dr. Shaeequa Dasnani, Neonatologist, and Cristina Martin, Director of the Childbirth Center, will be mentoring one of our Ridge Point High School students. Robin-Malone Koch, Imaging Manager, will be a mentor to one of our Austin High School students. Finally, Sam Puglisi, Supply Chain Director, will be mentoring one of our Travis High School students.
