Dr. Anderson's Update
Dear RMA Colleagues,
I hope you all experienced a healthy and relaxing holiday season with family! As we prepare for the second half of the school year, I want to share a few updates and reminders. Covid cases and the Flu are present in our communities. Let's work together to minimize illness spread upon return to school following the winter break. I also want to remind everyone to continue the protocol of keeping classroom doors closed and locked during the school day.
As the second semester begins, I am excited to see our student's smiling faces back on our campuses. Our focus on student academic achievement will continue as we work to prepare them for their next steps in life and to be productive parts of society.I appreciate the commitment we share as educators and dedicated staff members for the success of our students. It takes all of us working together, and supporting young minds, to ensure their success.
Please join me in celebrating our school board members during January for school board recognition month. RMA is fortunate to have such a dedicated group of individuals guiding and leading our district by donating their time and effort. Our school board profoundly impacts our students through dedication and assistance the entire school year, putting the needs of our students first.
I am thankful for each of you, and I appreciate having such a talented and dedicated staff. I am also thankful for a new year that brings another opportunity to play a small part in making the world a better place. Together, we will continue to improve our service to the students and families of our community.
Best wishes for a successful remainder of the 2022-2023 school year.
Respectfully,
Dr. Armard Anderson
Superintendent of Schools
