Mrs. Roark: A'Zireana Taylor has been chosen as the Student of the Month in our class. She is the perfect example of a positive student. Zi arrives in the morning with a smile, and that never leaves her face. Her positive spirit and joy is contagious!
Ms. Merlo: I recommend Kaydence Felder as Student of the Month for positivity. She is always upbeat and ready to tackle the day. No matter the circumstances, she's dedicated to doing her work and remaining positive!
Mrs. Sutherland: Ja'Son Williams is my February Student of the Month. He is kind, a hard worker, and a helper to his peers. He always brings a smile every day!
Ms. Prawdzik: My student of the month is Zephaniah Bates. Zephaniah shows up each day with a positive attitude. He continuously works hard to complete his work, even when it's difficult. Zephaniah stays positive in all situations.
Mrs. Cook: My Student of the Month for February is Journey Hayes. The reason she was selected is that from the moment I met her, I could tell she was happy and good-natured. She comes to class with a smile and happy story to share with her classmates. Her positive attitude makes others smile and laugh, too. Thank you, Journey, for spreading sunshine in our classroom.
Mr. Teer: This month, I could not help but award my Student of the Month to the two sisters in our classroom, A'Miyiah and T'Niyiah Moore. A'Miyiah and T'Niyiah joined GHA in January and have had such a positive impact in our classroom! Since the day I met them, I knew that there was something special about the sisters; they are both very eager to learn, they love to participate in classroom discussions, they email me every assignment they complete, and they have great love for their peers and teachers. It is my absolute pleasure to honor A'Miyiah and T'Niyiah as the Student(s) of the Month in 3rd grade.
Mr. Chapman: My Student of the Month for February is Za'Nayjah Johnson. I have been so impressed by Za'Nayjah this school year. Since September, she has brought a positive attitude to every class session. Za'Nayjah strives to get better every day, which empowers others around her to do the same. I am very proud of her and quite thankful I am able to work with her this school year.
Ms. Paynter: I am choosing D'Mere Robinson as my Student of the Month for exhibiting positivity. D'Mere is always boosting other students up in the class. When he sees someone who is doing a good job, he will let them know. He gives compliments to everyone, including the teachers. He makes people feel good about what they are doing, and that can turn someone's whole day around.
Ms. Thomas: My Student of the Month for February is Theodore Cartwright. He is such a positive influence in class. He is always in class on time and participates during every lesson. Theodore never gets frustrated and is eager to learn. He always shares good things with the class and is always a cheerful presence in our class.
Ms. Crane: My Student of the Month is Julius Toins-Matiere. He has been a shining example of this month's character trait, positivity. Julius has a fantastic smile and personality. Every morning, Julius turns on his camera and microphone and engages me and his classmates, asking us how we are doing. I look forward to seeing his enthusiasm every morning!
