Celebrate with Books! We have a Black History Month book display in the library. Come to the Library to check them out or search the catalog in your student portal to put them on hold.

This past Wednesday, January 31st, we had the honor of hosting esteemed industry representatives, members of the GPCS Executive Cabinet, and distinguished visitors from various school districts at our highly anticipated 2024 AI Showcase. We extend our sincere gratitude to our dedicated students and staff whose efforts contributed to the resounding success of the showcase.

The Student Teacher Achievement Recognition honors the highest achieving high school seniors and their most academically influential teachers. Students must have the highest score on any single SAT taken through the November test date of their senior year with their SAT scores equal to or higher than the 2022 national average scores on the evidence-based math and reading and writing sections, as well as rank in the top 10% or top 10 students of their class based on their GPA. Please congratulate Skylar Gindlesperger for this honorable achievement.

Be sure to complete your 2024-2025 FAFSA Application. The 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available as part of their soft launch. Click the link below to access the form. FAFSA is closely monitoring their site performance and form functionality.

The 2024-2025 Dual Enrollment funding application is available effective Feb. 1. The application is located at GAfutures.org. If you are interested in dual enrollment next school year, be sure that you submit the correct application. If you submitted prior to Feb. 1, you will need to resubmit. Email your counselor if you have any questions.

• Only Seckinger HS students and opposing HS students will be permitted in games without a parent. High School IDs will be checked.
  
• Students must leave school on game day and can return thirty minutes before the start.
  
• All games are available for purchase online. Visit the GoFan website here: https://gofan.co/
  
• All elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult at all sporting events.
