Sweetheart Dance Success

What an incredible turnout for the Sweetheart Dances last Friday, Feb 10th. Students and families showed up dressed in their nicest attire and celebrated love and friendship with dancing, snacks, and pictures! Many thanks to Rachelle Wittek and her team, as well as our Mills PTA for hosting such a fun event.

Counseling Kudos

This weekend, our counselors and school counseling team were recognized at the CREST (Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas) banquet in Round Rock. Not only did our team take home the CREST award, we were further recognized in the Leadership category. Way to go Ms. Edwards and Ms. Whatley!

Early Release Day is this FRIDAY, FEB 17th

All students will be released at 1:30pm. Thank you for making arrangements to ensure your child is picked up on time. If your child attends MASCOT or an afterschool club/care on campus, you will be receiving communication regarding pick up for the 17th.

Student/Staff Holiday, Monday, Feb 20th

Feb 20th will not be a bad weather makeup day for students and staff. There is no school on Monday, 2/20. Austin ISD is applying for a waiver with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to make up for days lost from the ice storm.

Registering your child NOW helps us communicate our projected enrollment numbers and subsequent staffing needs with the school district for the 23-24 school year. For example, the district may allocate additional teaching or classified staff due to student enrollment numbers. Thank you for your support!
